BASIC PURPOSE:
Support day-to-day operation of benefits programs. Emphasis on accurate and efficient invoice payment and customer service.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. With the Benefits Team, responsible for administration of US benefits programs, including health, dental, FSA, HSA, commuter and COBRA benefits. Support US Open Enrollment, including reconciliations. Work with vendors to resolve issues, schedule promotional and enrollment events, and process annual renewals.
  2. Responsible for timely and accurate payment of US and non-US benefits invoices, including the processing of self-insured health insurance claims, creating monthly bills for Life Insurance and LTD insurance. Reconcile and submit funding requests for FSA, HSA, and Retirement Plans contributions each pay period. Research and resolve any invoice discrepancies with billing vendors, resolve escalated employee issues with vendor contacts.
  3. Provide customer service for employee population. Handle phone inquires and walk in traffic. Answer employee questions about benefit plans and coverage. Interpret and communicate company policies. Research and resolve related concerns and escalated issues. Interact with benefit plan vendors as needed.
  4. Support Wellness Program by scheduling selected wellness seminars with our wellness and benefits partners. Recommend content, plan, schedule, and provide reporting on events at all facilities. Plan and coordinate annual US benefits fairs.
  5. Workday data input and high- level reporting, support special projects related to pandemic-related Work from Home and Transition back to the office.
  6. Conduct new employee and wholesaler orientation. Ensure that benefits information stays current in all publications (print, presentations, internet, etc.).
  7. Perform other related duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  2. Three years of related experience with 1-2 years of benefits administration experience. Demonstrated understanding of federal and state legislation impacting employee benefits.
  3. Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal and presentation skills.
  4. Attention to detail and ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy.
  5. Ability to work independently and interact effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
  6. Ability to handle information in a manner that protects confidentiality.
  7. Working knowledge of windows based applications and HRIS systems preferred.
