 Job Title:  Performance Reporting Analyst

BASIC PURPOSE:
Using discretion and judgment, review and verify the accuracy and appropriateness of all performance and related product data appearing in sales and marketing materials publicly released. 
 
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Recommend, maintain and oversee policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency in data used in marketing and sales materials and, as needed other information published externally.  This position will require knowledge and proven experience in the following areas:
 
  • Performance concepts as relates to investment products – including performance calculation, presentation, and performance attribution.
 
  • Regulatory issues surrounding performance presentations including SEC, NASD as well as voluntary standards such as AIMR-PPS and UK IPS.
 
  • Investment Product characteristic data for both fixed income and equity investment styles, measures of risk and risk adjusted performance and their appropriate usages.
 
  • The data and technology environment and, in particular, the authoritative source for each data element reviewed.  Compile and maintain a corporate reference of all data elements and their authoritative sources or stored.
 
  • Recommend procedures and workflows in a controlled environment that ensures effective and timely review of all materials, including effective control evidence of review.
 
  • Assist in review of prospectuses, shareholder reports and other public documents related to funds and investment products.
 
  • Assist in review of sales & marketing literature, RFP's and other published materials related to funds and investment products.
 
  • Perform other assignments as requested.
 
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree preferably with a concentration in finance, mathematics, statistics or related discipline or equivalent experience.
 
  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience in the mutual fund or investment advisory industry required.
 
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytic skills.
 
  • Demonstrated experience working in a controlled environment.
 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
 
  • CFA a significant plus.
