Job Description
Our cleint is looking for a Systems Business Analyst to join Private Banking Technology. In this role you will be a part of a team that drives technology solutions for the private banking business and clients. You will work as technical liaison between development and business groups. You will interpret what the user's needs are and translate those requirements into detailed specifications; take part in solution design, development, testing and production deployment.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC): project scoping, planning, requirements definition, issue resolution, testing, training, and implementation.
  • Develop requirement documentation for new functionalities which lead to process improvement and product enhancements, increasing scalability, lowering costs, and mitigating risk.
  • Collaborate with programmer analysts and external engineers to successfully integrate with vendor applications.
  • Provides systems analysis support for production issues when needed
  • Identify design and development options using prototypes and communicate pros and cons to business users and technical teams.
  • Works to self-manage projects to budget/estimate and hit deadlines set forth by project leads/managers
  • Research and evaluate new technology solutions and present recommendations for improved system operations.
  • Utilize Jira to organize, track, and update progress on projects throughout their entire life cycle.
  • Financial Services experience, especially in Private Banking / Wealth Management / Asset Management
  • Bachelor's degree' equivalent work experience 3 to 6+ years financial services industry experience aplus
  • Very Strong Analytical skills required
  • SDLC Experience is a plus
  • SQL experience is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills a plus
  • Problem solving/analytical skills
  • Basic understanding and applies knowledge of the SDLC Project Life Cycle
  • Detailed oriented and out of the box analytical thinking
  • Technology driven business skills
  • Experience in Waterfall and Agile Methodologies is required
  • Experience in creating workflow diagrams e.g. Visio
  • Ability to use standard desktop tools effectively (Outlook, Microsoft Office)
