As a member of a leading educational publisher's English Language Teaching (ELT) team, this per diem role is a specialist position that engages with the school (Pre-K 12) customers, on our market leading print/digital solutions.
Reporting to the Customer Success Consultant Manager, the per diem role works with the K-12 ELT team to facilitate training on both print and digital materials.
What you'll do here
- Facilitate training sessions (live, virtual, asynchronous) that result in successful implementation of the publisher's products in the K12 classroom.
- Serve as the digital expert on ELT platforms, focusing on how the platforms will work in the various environment that the district will access them.
- Maintain extensive contact with district leaders and teachers to assess and satisfy their curriculum and technology needs.
- Apply digital expertise to provide first class internal digital training and support for the sales teams.
Skills you will need here
- Bachelor's degree in education
- 5 years of related experience in teaching, training, facilitating, or selling in educational publishing and/or educational technology environment.
- Curriculum expertise in English Language Development.
- Strong training / presentation skills.
- Evidence of strong customer orientation
- Ability to form and build effective customer relationships.
- Ability to communicate clearly in virtual, in-person engagements, and in writing.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and video creation tools
- Familiarity with LMS Systems and educational technology tools
- Position involves frequent lifting and moving of materials, which could weigh up to 50 lbs!
- Ability to travel overnight if needed
Candidates in the NYC area are preferred.
Candidates who have worked for the NYC public school system within the last 366 days are not eligible.
