Business Analyst (Process Improvement)

Job summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst with strong process improvement skills to analyze business operations, identify inefficiencies, and recommend data-driven solutions that improve performance, productivity, and client experience. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders in the Operations department to optimize workflows, support strategic initiatives, and drive continuous improvement efforts.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze current business processes, workflows, and operational performance
  • Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
  • Create process maps, workflows, technical requirements, and business documentation
  • Conduct data analysis and generate dashboards to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, IT software architects and product owners
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions
  • Assist in project planning, testing, and implementation activities

Required skills & qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Operations Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis or process improvement roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or BPM methodologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerAutomate, Co-Pilot Studio, Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Preferred qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar certification
  • Experience with investment management operational systems
  • Knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools
  • Project management experience is a plus
