We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our development team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career developer looking to gain hands-on experience building and maintaining modern web applications.
You'll work alongside experienced developers on real production systems, contributing to both front-end and back-end development while learning modern software engineering practices.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Build and integrate backend functionality and APIs
- Implement application validation and type-safe data handling using tools such as Zod
- Work with authentication and authorization systems such as Auth0
- Use modern state management patterns and libraries
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot applications running in Microsoft Azure and Linux environments
- Use Git for source control, branching, pull requests, and collaborative development
- Debug issues across the application stack
- Work with senior developers to design and implement new features
- Help test, document, and improve existing applications
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
- Understanding of JavaScript and modern web development
- Familiarity with React and/or Next.js
- Exposure to TypeScript
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and client/server architecture
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
- Experience with Git and version control
- Understanding of application state management
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work across the full stack
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Nice to Have
Experience with any of the following is helpful, but not required:
- Next.js
- TypeScript

- Quickbase
- Auth0 or other authentication platforms
- Drizzle ORM or another ORM
- Zod or similar validation libraries
- PostgreSQL or other relational databases
